"You have the right to remain silent"... or do you?

You have the right to remain silent" - This silent is a legal right recognised, explicitly or by convention, in many of the world's legal systems. However, unlike in America, where the right to remain silent or ‘Miranda Law’ is protected by the Bill of Rights, in Australia we do not have a Bill of Rights, and recent changes to legislation have meant that our right to remain silent is under threat.
