Landlord and Tenant Rights and Laws

In a High Court case in April 2009, Tabcorp Holdings Ltd v Bowen Investments Pty Ltd, Court found that the tenant had breached its lease by altering the landlord’s premises without consent and was ordered to pay damages of $1.38 million for doing so.
